10 Weeks

Location

Mid-Atlantic / Hybrid

Focus

Sell-Side M&A

Target Companies

$3M–$15M EBITDA

Why Quantive Is Different

Most investment banking interns show up when a deal is already in motion. At Quantive, you'll see the entire value creation story—from identifying a company's untapped potential to closing a premium exit.

See the Full Picture

Our integrated model combines business performance consulting with M&A advisory. You won't just build models—you'll understand why some companies command 8x multiples while others get 4x.

Direct Senior Access

Work directly with our founder and senior advisors. No layers of bureaucracy. Your work product goes straight to clients, and your ideas get heard.

Build Something New

This is our inaugural program. You won't just participate—you'll help shape it. Entrepreneurial candidates who want to make their mark thrive here.

What You'll Do

Real work on live engagements—not busywork simulations. You'll contribute to active client projects from week one.

01

Financial Analysis & Valuation

Build DCF models, comparable company analyses, and LBO scenarios for companies preparing for market.

02

Marketing Materials

Draft Confidential Information Memoranda, management presentations, and teaser documents for live sell-side engagements.

03

Buyer Research & Outreach

Identify strategic and financial buyers, build target lists, and support outreach campaigns to qualified acquirers.

04

Due Diligence Support

Organize data rooms, coordinate with client teams, and support the buyer diligence process through close.

05

Industry & Market Research

Conduct sector deep-dives and market analyses that inform client positioning and buyer targeting strategies.

06

Client Interaction

Join client calls and meetings. Observe (and contribute to) how senior bankers manage relationships and navigate complex discussions.

What You'll Learn

The Five Transformations Framework

Our proprietary methodology for scaling companies from $10M to $100M+ in enterprise value. You'll learn what drives valuation multiples.

Sell-Side M&A Process

End-to-end transaction execution—from engagement letter to closing dinner. How deals actually get done in the lower middle market.

Business Valuation

Multiple methodologies, real-world application, and what makes the difference between a defensible opinion and a guess.

Value Creation Strategy

How companies prepare for exit. What separates businesses that attract premium bids from those that languish on the market.

The Quantive Difference

At a typical investment bank, you learn how to execute transactions.

At Quantive, you learn how to create value—and then capture it through a well-executed exit.

That's a skill set that will serve you whether you stay in banking, move to private equity, join a portfolio company, or build something of your own.

Who We're Looking For

We care less about your pedigree and more about how you think. The best candidates share these traits:

Intellectually Curious

You want to understand how businesses actually work, not just how to model them.

Entrepreneurial Mindset

You're energized by building something new. Ambiguity doesn't scare you—it excites you.

Detail-Obsessed

You catch the typo everyone else missed. Precision matters to you because it matters to clients.

Strong Communicator

You can explain complex ideas simply—in writing, in person, and under pressure.
