We're seeking an exceptional M&A Analyst to join our integrated M&A Advisory and Business Performance Group (BPG) practice. This isn't your typical investment banking role - you'll gain exposure to both operational transformations AND transaction execution, developing expertise that no other firm can provide.
Responsibilities
- Build comprehensive valuation models and investor presentations
- Support VP of Transaction Operations in managing deal 'go-to-market' activities, CRM systems, due diligence processes, and data room preparation
- Support deal origination through targeted outreach to business owners identified via market research and proprietary sourcing
- Lead diligence work-streams providing critical coordination between PE investors, QoE providers, tech diligence teams, and legal
- Analyze investor feedback and support negotiation strategies
- Contribute to business development by initiating conversations with prospective clients and nurturing early-stage relationships
- Participate in operational assessments across our Five Transformations framework
- Support senior team members and client C-Suites in developing and implementing value creation roadmaps
- Build financial models that capture improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- 5-7 years in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, or private equity
- Strong deal execution experience with exposure to middle market transactions
- Interest in operational improvement and business transformation
- Track record of managing complex projects and multiple stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree required
Technical Skills
- Advanced financial modeling across multiple methodologies (DCF, LBO, comps)
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation development capabilities
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
- Experience with virtual data rooms and deal management systems
- Understanding of legal documents and transaction structures
Nice to Have
- CPA, CFA, or MBA - we care more about impact than credentials
- Prior exposure to operational improvement initiatives
- Experience in lower middle market transactions
